What I do:
A typical workday involves completing work that has been preplanned, processing any new information that comes in, and lending a hand to co-workers in any way possible.
How I do it:
I take the time to fully understand everything I work on to provide accurate results. I am confident that any question or challenge can be resolved through the use of my peers, research materials, and continuing education.
Why I do it:
The cool thing about taxes is that they apply to literally every business and person; which puts me in a position to be able to help and serve everyone. What is fun about auditing is being able to see the big picture of a business and how transactions are connected.
My life outside of vT accounting:
I like spending my time engaging with internet culture and video games, especially competitive games such as Super Smash Brothers Ultimate, StarCraft 2, and League of Legends. When I am working out or doing chores, you can catch me listening to a book on Audible. Some of my favorite titles include the Red Rising series, Dresden Files, and The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People. I am also very fascinated with space and nature indulging in documentaries of the sort. And above all, I love spending time with my beautiful family.
