What I do:
I start the day by checking my emails, and then reviewing my calendar and to-do list. After that, things can go one of two ways. It could follow what I had planned out for the day or it could be something completely different.
How I do it:
Communication is key. If I don’t fully understand what my clients need, I won’t be able to help them. Asking questions are important too. I love being able to take in information and organize it.
Why I do it:
I love the fact that accounting is much more than just numbers. Many people think that accounting is all math, but there is more to it. Accounting involves everything from organization, number relationships, and supporting clients to achieve their compliance needs.
My life outside of vT accounting:
When I am not working, I enjoy shuttling my three kids to their various activities, seeing new places, camping, and reading a good book.
